The Tug Hill Estate is a dynamic business, home to a farm winery, distillery, and event center. In addition to being a private event venue; we also offer several unique ‘pop-up’ style dining and music events for visitors. We have even started to add community events to our schedule!

Our mission is to provide you and your guests with a memorable experience at our 40-acre farm estate overlooking the Black River Valley.
Grapevine Guard Dogs
Bailey & Cooper are our resident vineyard protectors. Their job is to simply keep nuisances that may damage our crops off of the property. They are friendly enough to be around guests and their pets.
Please expect them to be playful. They may jump or try to steal your stuff! If they do jump, firmly but gently push them down and tell them “NO.” If you have any questions or concerns about the dogs, please promptly remove yourself from their area and direct your questions and concerns to the staff in the Vintner’s Lounge.

Local summer sausage and ring bologna from local meat markets, extra sharp cheddar and a Cheese of the Day, crackers, fresh or dried fruit, and a beer mustard sauce.
Pretzel Bites
Soft pretzel bites served with sides of brewpub mustard and cinnamon, honey butter.
Buffalo Chicken Bites
Four puff pastry bites filled with a spicy chicken wing dip. Served with a side of ranch or bleu cheese.

Made in house, this savory and hearty soup is an Estate favorite!
Croghan Bologna Sliders
Almost world famous, these Croghan Bologna sliders give you a proper taste of Lewis County – all in one bite! Croghan bologna, sharp cheddar, and a touch of our mayo-brewpub mustard mix on three honey, oatmeal rolls from Nolt’s Country Store! Served with kettle-cooked chips and a pickle.
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Savory chicken, ham, swiss cheese, and tangy brewpub mustard served atop a flaky, buttery croissant or in a crunchy romaine lettuce wrap with kettle-cooked chips and a pickle.
Maple Bacon Croissant
Applewood smoked bacon and deliciously sweet maple syrup are the stars of this show! Mild cheddar and crispy bacon are melted and served on a a maple-toasted, flaky croissant with kettle cooked chips and a pickle.
Estate Salad
Fresh greens topped with dried cranberries, candied pecans, feta cheese, and green onion. Served with our signature maple balsamic dressing.
At Tug Hill Estate, we take great pride in produscing deliscious food, with as much as possible being made from scratch, right here in our very own kitchen, with the freshest, most local ingredients we can find.

Pretzel Bites
Soft baked pretzel bites served with sweet cinnamon butter and mustard sauce for dipping.
Local Charcuterie Board
A local board featuring ring bologna and summer sausage from Red Barn, extra sharp cheddar, and a specialty cheese from Lowville Producers, an assortment of crackers, dried fruit, candied nuts, and mustard sauce.
Entrees:
Estate Salad
Mixed greens, fresh seasonal fruit, candied pecans, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, and green onion. Served with a side of our famous Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Add chicken or steak for $3 more.
Chicken Caesar Salad
Fresh greens, shaved parmesan cheese, and house-made garlic croutons. Served with a side of creamy caesar dressing.
Substitute steak at no additional charge.
Lemon Chicken Salad Sandwich
Creamy, lemony chicken salad atop a croissant or lettuce wrap.
Bourbon Steak & Bleu Cheese Flatbread
Sweet heat bourbon sauce, green onions, and a blend of crumbled bleu cheese and sharp cheddar, baked onto a flatbread crust. Don’t like bleu cheese? Just ask for it without!
Caprese Flatbread
Fresh tomato, basil, and mozzarella drizzled with a sweet balsamic reduction.
BBQ or Buffalo Chicken Flatbread
Either BBQ or buffalo sauce base, topped with savory, marinated chicken and topped with cheddar, mozzarella, and green onion (and bleu cheese on the buffalo chicken).

Vintner’s Lounge
The Vintner’s Lounge is regularly open to the public, we invite you to enjoy leisurely wine and spirits tastings and lite food offerings.
The Lounge is in the lowest level of our building and is home to our Tasting Room and Retail Space, as well as, our relaxation destination. When you pull into the driveway, please follow the signs that will get you to the correct place (lowest parking lot).

Sunday Brunch
Our Sunday Brunch Buffet is one of the many enjoyed ‘pop-up style’ public dining events held in the Tug Hill Estate’s main event hall. Enjoy a relaxing dining experience and a curated farm-fresh buffet.
Reservations are recommended and can be placed by calling 315-376-4336 or can be made online through the link below.
Wine Down
“Wine Down After Hours” is one of the many enjoyed pop-up public dining events held at the Tug Hill Estate’s main hall and/or terrace.
Live music, a curated lite dinner menu, and a bar stocked with fine wine, beer, and specialty cocktails guarantee an enjoyable evening on the Tug Hill.
Doors open at 5pm, Kitchen open from 5pm – 8pm, Live Music from 6pm – 9pm.
Friday Night Dinners
Occasionally, we are able to hold dinners on Friday nights. Dinners are from 5-8 pm and may or may not include live music.
The menu changes for each dinner. These dinners are NOT FORMAL and are open to everyone.

In the warmer months, there is plenty of outdoor space or seating in the Vintner’s Lounge for guests not looking for dinner service.

We welcome you to enjoy the estate’s grounds after picking. We offer light food options in our Vintner’s Lounge, with additional seating in our Gardens and Brunch on Sundays. It will be a memorable and tasty family trip with views of the Black River Valley and the cool Tug Hill breeze.
*Our grounds and restrooms are handicap accessible. Restrooms are located in the Vintner’s Lounge which is found on the ground level of the main hall.

- Raspberries: $4.50/lb or $4.00 @ 8lbs or more
- Blueberries: $3.50/lb or $3.00 @ 8lbs or more
- Apples: $1.50/ lb
- Plums: $3.50/lb
- Grapes: $1/lb
» Fruit ripeness and volume depends on the weather.
» Bring your own containers and we will weigh them before you get started or we offer pulp berry tills for you to pick into.
» Don’t forget water, good walking shoes, hat, and sunscreen.
» Kid and dog friendly.
» We accept cash, credit cards, and local check.
